Amazon Shopping Videos (ASV) is one of the newest and fastest growing strategic programs at Amazon. We are creating an innovative live video streaming and video on demand shopping experience that helps millions of customers find inspiration and learn about products through video every day across the globe.

We are looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to drive cross-cutting initiatives that will scale the Amazon Live advertising offering, and the customer video shopping experience on Amazon.com and beyond. You will work closely with partner teams in Advertising, Shopping, and Prime Video, across disciplines including product, engineering, and marketing to bring innovative ideas from concept to reality. You will identify, establish, monitor, and analyze metrics to track business success for our products. You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefits. The role also includes improving the product and engineering team's operational efficiency across multiple geographic locations and time zones, doing more with less.



Qualifications

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 3+ years of software development experience

- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design

- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps



Extended Qualifications

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
