Description

Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.We are seeking an innovative and customer-obsessed Sr. Technical Program Manager to lead our Kuiper Commerce team in reimagining satellite internet commerce experience. In this role, you'll spearhead the development of next-generation commerce systems that will set new standards in the industry.

Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Key job responsibilities
- Aid in the design and delivery of distributed system based Components, Applications and Services to server Kuiper customers
- Work with our peer teams and stakeholders to design suitable software systems and interfaces to fulfill the customer needs.
- Develop a strategic plan for execution and program management to deliver the software and services to delight Kuiper customers
- Coordinate strategy and execution across multiple functions including engineering, product, operations, business, and legal
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Extended Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
