Description
Prime Video is disrupting traditional media with an ever-increasing selection of movies, TV shows, Emmy Award winning original content, add-on subscriptions including HBO and Showtime, and live events like Thursday Night Football. We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Video Streaming Platforms organization. You will drive complex, cross-organizational technical programs that improve customer experience, quality, development velocity, and operational excellence through GenAI across our mobile, TV, and web platforms.Key Partnerships
• Work directly with engineering directors and their leadership teams
• Partner with principal engineers and senior technical leaders across organizations
• Collaborate with engineering managers on technical strategy and cross-organizational initiatives
• Regular engagement with senior director and VP-level stakeholders
This role will be instrumental in driving technical excellence and efficiency across our video streaming platforms while delivering the best customer experience at maximum development velocity.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead strategic, enterprise-wide technical programs to improve customer experience, quality, development velocity, and operational excellence spanning multiple divisions and platform teams across Prime Video organizations
• Establish frameworks for cross-organizational collaboration on shared technical infrastructure
• Partner with senior engineering directors and organizational leaders to identify and execute opportunities for technical optimizations and efficiency
• Drive technical strategy discussions and alignment across platform engineering organizations
• Manage complex program dependencies and technical decisions impacting multiple engineering divisions
• Define organization-level metrics and success criteria for large technical initiatives, and drive adoption of technical standards across teams
• Lead executive-level reviews and maintain alignment across senior leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
Extended Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
