Description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to help build the next generation of video advertising technology that will shape how advertisers connect with viewers across Amazon's extensive collection of ad-supported streaming Video services. These services include but are not limited to Prime Video, Twitch, Fire TV Channels, and Live Sports.

In this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that span multiple business units and technical teams. You will drive the development and implementation of new advertising capabilities, establish technical frameworks for quality and performance, and help define the technical roadmap for our video advertising solutions. Key responsibilities include managing large-scale technical programs, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to define requirements, establishing success metrics, and ensuring seamless execution of strategic initiatives that drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale advertising technology programs, a deep understanding of streaming/digital video advertising, and a proven track record of delivering results in complex, matrix organizations. You will need to demonstrate strong technical acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence across organizational boundaries. About the team

We are the Video Network advertising team and our mission is to empower advertisers to effortlessly leverage Amazon Video’s collective reach and scale to meet their advertising objectives (e.g. awareness, consideration, conversion, loyalty).



Qualifications

- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 5+ years of software development experience

- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition



Extended Qualifications

- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

- Experience in advertising technology

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
