Amazon Selection and Catalog Systems (ASCS) manages the world's largest e-commerce product catalog infrastructure. Item Data Service (IDS) organization under ASCS is responsible and authority for establishing product identity and attributes which lights up product detail page, supply chain and fulfillment use cases across all marketplaces. The portfolio of services and products we own directly impacts both seller and buyer experiences. Being the world’s largest product catalog with billions of products, and billions of transactions per day the scale our services support is massive. We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead strategic cross-organizational programs and technology initiatives. The role also involves developing scalable systems that enhance catalog data quality through Large Language Models (LLMs), with implementation across multiple countries and languages. The ideal candidate will drive innovation in our catalog systems while managing complex, cross-functional projects that span multiple teams and organizations.Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. TPM in this role, you will collaborate closely with a team of software development managers, developers, and Applied Scientists to deliver solutions into production as well as establishing partnerships with other organizations such as Retail/Category businesses, Operations, Selling Partner Services (SPS), Supply Chain and Fulfillment technology to prioritize and translate the business requirements into technical specifications. You will have end to end ownership - from defining the strategy, working with engineering to build the solution, and measuring metrics to monitoring progress across the entire Amazon eCommerce pipeline. You will be the advocate for multitude of products/services owned by the team. You will provide direct visibility to senior leadership on all aspects of your programs on a regular cadence. You will drive cross team collaboration, influence product roadmaps using our data driven frameworks, ruthlessly prioritize initiatives that are important to business. You will help us move quickly, look for simplifications and identify blockers early. You’ll own and improve the mechanisms we use to track goals, status, and business metrics across teams.
A day in the life
Key responsibilities:
• Own programs with significant complexity with broad cross-organizational and/or deep architectural impact.
• Drive large engineering efforts that solve significantly difficult problems.
• Identify risks/opportunities in technical strategies, architecture(s), in engineering organization structure(s).
• Scope, plan, implement and deliver projects and programs, and collaborate with program managers and senior leaders to align with strategic vision and goals.
• Drive projects cross functionally, build partnerships with other organizations, and work proactively with business teams to ensure security objectives are met.
• Establish metrics and regular reporting mechanisms.
• Support deep dive assessments and ad-hoc data analysis requests.
• Deliver findings, recommendations and remediation steps for all activities.
• Primary point of contact for world-wide stakeholders of programs and goals that you lead.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Extended Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
