We are looking for a motivated Technical Program Manager with the desire and talent to contribute to our vision. As a Sr Technical Manager of the Identity team, you will take the Authentication charter to next level.

This role is cross-functional and requires a strong ability to think big and influence teams across Amazon. You should be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and display high levels of bias for action and ownership. You will be required to understand the different use cases, work with engineering teams to find and fine tune the solutions, work with senior management to evangelize and drive adoption and share reports with executives.

You must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-driven and deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment. Key job responsibilities

Key responsibilities: As a Sr TPM you will be expected to

• Own programs with significant complexity with broad cross-organizational and/or deep architectural impact.

• Drive large engineering efforts that solve significantly difficult problems

• Identify risks/opportunities in technical strategies, architecture(s), in engineering organization structure(s).

• Scope, plan, implement and deliver projects and programs, and collaborate with program managers and senior leaders to align with strategic vision and goals

• Drive projects cross functionally, build partnerships with other organizations, and work proactively with business teams to ensure security objectives are met

• Integrate information security into organizational development and processes

• Establish metrics and regular reporting mechanisms

• Support deep dive assessments and ad-hoc data analysis requests

• Deliver findings, recommendations and remediation steps for all activities



Qualifications

- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 3+ years of software development experience

- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules



Extended Qualifications

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
