Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.The Kuiper Quality team is looking for an exceptional Senior Supplier Quality Technical Program Manager to join our team and drive operational improvements across our program. This role will engage directly with Supply Chain, ProdOps, Engineering, Manufacturing Quality etc. to establish and optimize quality system mechanisms that deliver high-performance satellite components and sub-assemblies at unprecedented volume. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about continuous improvement: you love streamlining processes and you love sharing your approach with others. You use data to identify process defects and drive improvements at scale. You enjoy launching programs from the ground up and are at your best when you are inspiring others to drive improvements in their areas every day.
Key job responsibilities
- Working across the Kuiper organization and partnering with other Amazon teams to drive improvement in the Kuiper Supplier Quality. This may include identifying pain points, developing KPIs, facilitating process improvement activities, and driving business change.
- Driving process standardization and adoption across the Kuiper Supply Chain, including planning, initiating and managing process changes.
- Using visual tools (value stream mapping, spaghetti diagrams, etc.) to map processes.
- Creating robust metrics and analyzing large data sets to enable data-driven decision-making at the executive level. Applying lean thinking and data-driven performance management to eliminate waste and drive process stability.
- Serving as a subject matter expert for Lean, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence, sharing your knowledge with employees ranging from associates to senior leadership.
- Optimize supplier quality mechanisms for supplier performance improvement and meeting quality and production goals
- Foster a culture of quality, improvement and learning with Kuiper
Export Control Requirement:

A day in the life
This role is an individual contributor and is the Sr. TPM within Kuiper's Supplier Quality organization. This role must identify and solve problems within a supply chain while coaching teams and developing mechanisms to consistently deliver high-quality products.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Extended Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
