Description
Our team is part of the Enterprise Engineering organization and manages one of the largest Windows client fleets in the world. Our focus is to consistently raise Amazon’s security bar while ensuring smooth productivity experience for our end users.We are looking for a self-motivated Technical Program Manager (TPM) with strong interpersonal skills and experience leading large-scale initiatives. The successful candidate will manage technical projects and workstreams within our systems and software engineering group and maintain critical services used by tens of thousands of Amazonian teams.
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will be responsible for driving and delivering multiple complex projects simultaneously. In this role, you will provide project leadership, anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate project risks, quantify the impact of making tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints. You will work closely with stakeholders across various teams to identify and drive innovative solutions that achieve business goals and align with long-term product roadmaps.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong PM/TPM background, with demonstrated experience leading cross-organizational technical program management and technical background in fleet management.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
