The Amazon Leo Supply Chain team is seeking a Sr Technical Program Manager to drive our sourcing and supply chain initiatives for new products and systems. This team is responsible for all commercial activities for all components and hardware destined for our ground system antennas globally. This role manages a diverse supply base spanning RF/Antenna systems, networking gear, and subsystems — delivering optimized cost, lead time, quality, and availability across a global network.
Key job responsibilities
The Leo Ground Systems Supply Chain team is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to support business and engineering stakeholders in developing, implementing and monitoring ground systems within our supply base. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record working with a global supply base in developing, implementing and scaling systems and process integration in order to achieve business needs. Experience working in new and ambiguous environments while solving complex problems with a broad range of cross functional stakeholders will be an advantage.
• Lead onboarding of new systems for team including driving User Acceptance Testing and overall system integration for existing processes as Subject Matter Expert
•Drive team-wide prioritization and risk mitigation mechanisms
• Work with a range of stakeholders including business leaders, engineering leaders, legal, program management, technology teams and supply chain to negotiate a variety of agreements
• Influence and develop operations processes, technology decisions, and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for both organizations
• Prioritize projects and activities to deliver maximum cost reductions and reliable on-time delivery
• Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals
• Collaborate with ground systems engineers to gain an in-depth knowledge of RF electronics and antenna systems functionality
• Manage end to end life cycle of supply chain operations for hardware and software pre-delivery through post-delivery
A day in the life
In this role as Sr. Technical Program Manager, you will be actively working with Ground Systems Engineering team, sourcing, quality, digital operations, internal testing and security team to develop and implement manufacturing tests across global supply base for ground gateway equipment. The products will enable mission critical, high throughput communications with Leo satellites. You will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to manufacture, test, and distribute solutions and products globally enabling Leo’s global network.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience developing and implementing KPI goals and strategies based on broader organization goals
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- Experience in vendor management
Extended Qualifications
- Comfortable in some scripting language of choice- Experienced with various hardware development or manufacturing processes, supplier management, including assembly at component level, subsystem, and system level

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
