Description
We are seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive delivery of high-impact features and products. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, data science, and operations—ensuring alignment, execution, and measurable outcomes across multiple teams. The TPM will own end-to-end program execution, from planning through delivery, while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated an ability to execute, be comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and is able to navigate across stakeholders while maintaining focus on delivering customer value. You should have a track record of successfully launching sophisticated technical products or features and have experience with ML/AI implementations (in healthcare preferred). The unique opportunity to shape a product from inception, backed by Amazon's resources and reach, makes this an exceptional role for a TPM passionate about improving healthcare outcomes through technology innovation.
Key job responsibilities
• Work closely with product and technical development teams to define program scope, goals, milestones and success metrics
• Drive execution of cross-functional programs spanning product, engineering, and data science teams
• Collaborate closely with data science and engineering teams to understand system architecture, technical constraints and coordinate necessary trade-offs to maximize value to customers
• Track and communicate progress, identify risks and proactively mitigate issues/blockers
• Establish and lead program management best practices, tools, and team ceremonies (including stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint demos)
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and performance metrics
A day in the life
You check in with technical leads, scientists, product managers, and engineers to align on progress and priorities. When unexpected results surface, you dig in — pulling data, identifying root causes, and huddling with engineers to formulate and test hypotheses. Findings become new requirements in product specs and roadmap items for the next sprint, with downstream teams informed of impact. You define metrics and establish mechanisms to drive them. You advocate for improvements to systems and processes that benefit your teams and partners. You close the day by writing a document for leadership capturing progress, decisions, risks, and mitigation plans.
