Description
Amazon Robotics (AR) seeks a talented and motivated Sr. Supply Chain Systems Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the Robotics Supply Chain (RSC) team. The TPM will define the end to end Planning capability framework along S&OP, Demand Planning and Supply Planning in coordination with Robotic Supply Chain operating functions - NPI, Order Management, Sourcing, Procurement and Logistics. The TPM will lead the business side adoption and evolution of the Kinaxis Supply Chain Planning application - will manage the business activities along requirements design to testing and deployment. The TPM will collaborate with internal customers, RSC functional teams, IT business applications product management, application and software engineering, and infrastructure teams while navigating a fast-paced project environment. The TPM will own the planning and execution for all supply chain Planning execution system launch deliverables across RSC. The TPM will be the single-threaded leader for RSC for Kinaxis and all core Planning applications, developing technical solutions that scale to growth and solve operational needs/challenges. The TPM will own the technical planning and project execution in partnership with the AR system technology team for all launch deliverables across RSC.The TPM must possess the ability to build strong relationships with customers and operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a large-scope, high-visibility role that requires a strong executive presence. The TPM will require a solid understanding of supply chain processes with in depth Planning operations experience, including technical system capabilities/features and associated business utilization, and interconnectivity to upstream and downstream applications specifically with PLM and ERP business processes and applications. The Sr. TPM role for Supply Chain Systems will own all aspects of the business definition of the Supply Chain Planning Architecture covering all relevant business processes and capabilities, including business intelligence and data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supply chain with deep Planning domain expertise, able to dive deep into core business processes and supporting applications/systems.
Key job responsibilities
- Creating Supply Chain Planning capability framework. Building capability roadmap aimed to drive increasing operating maturity.
- Lead RSC system initiatives and maintain on-time delivery to program’s success criteria. Understands system limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and/or the reasons for architectural decisions.
- Utilize strong technical judgement to inform stakeholders of technology and business trade-offs.
- Partner with both IT, RSC, internal customers to understand current and future system limitations with respect to scaling systems capability. Knows how to decouple dependencies, prevents duplicate efforts and collisions/outages.
- Prepare and facilitate business requirements documents to ensure RSC customer needs are met through system enhancement.
- Partner with RSC stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions that integrate across applications, systems and platforms to achieve business objectives. Knows how to make sure engineering teams are focused on the right solutions for the customer and organization.
- Understands the consequences of short-term solutions and impact on long-term architecture
- Lead large scale systems implementation projects to support supply chain business processes including the associated database management.
- Capable of holding a technical team to a high standard for both solutions and technical practices.
- Able to influence business operations leaders in context of investment decisions driven by quantitative ROI models.
- Able to simplify concurrent project delivery, including development and testing processes for projects that cross team boundaries.
- Develop and manage business process mapping, process gap identification, and gap reconciliation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent- 5+ years experience in Supply Chain Planning Operations supporting large scale manufacturing activities.
- 5+ years experience with implementation of large scale Planning Applications, building supply chain processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5+ years experience managing large scale programs across functional business operations and IT teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5+ years experience in defining Planning capability frameworks with corresponding solution roadmaps. Experience expressing business value statements and articulation of business benefits aimed to secure buy-in, with senior leadership forums.
Extended Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Master's degree
- PMP, or PMP certificate
- APICS Certification
- Experience with ERP and PLM systems preferred, especially Oracle, SAP and Teamcenter
- Experience with MES systems preferred, especially Proplanner
- Multidisciplinary background along Supply Chain Business Operations and IT development teams designing and implementing Supply Chain Planning applications
- Experience with Kinaxis supply planning

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
