Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to lead financial efficiency programs within the Data Center Communities (DCC) organization. In this role, you will own the identification and execution of high-yield cost reduction opportunities across data center CapEx and OpEx. You will partner across Engineering, Construction, Sourcing, and Finance to develop strategies that drive down infrastructure costs through design optimization, equipment sourcing, and construction efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, experience managing cost reduction programs in infrastructure or construction environments, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams toward shared financial targets.Key job responsibilities
• Own and drive the financial efficiency program portfolio, identifying and prioritizing high-yield CapEx and OpEx reduction opportunities
• Partner with Sourcing to develop strategies that reduce infrastructure costs through vendor consolidation, volume leverage, and long lead equipment optimization
• Drive cost reduction initiatives for data center builds across design, procurement, and construction
• Develop benchmarking frameworks to identify cost variance drivers by region and cluster, and build game plans to close gaps
• Partner with Finance to build business cases, model ROI, and report realized savings against targets
• Coordinate across Engineering, Construction, Supply Chain, and Sourcing to align on cost reduction roadmaps without compromising quality or delivery
• Establish mechanisms and governance to track initiative progress and provide leadership visibility into performance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience- Experience working cross functionally across several teams
- Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership
- • Experience managing CapEx/OpEx reduction programs with measurable financial outcomes
- • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build financial models, benchmark costs, and prioritize by ROI
Extended Qualifications
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: data center or network capacity planning, data center or network infrastructure program/project management, or related technical fields- Experience directly related to the design or construction of data centers or critical infrastructure or large-scale mechanical and electrical plants
- 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience
- • Track record of delivering significant annualized cost savings through program-level initiatives
- • Experience developing benchmarking frameworks across regions or geographies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
