Description
Join our dynamic team as a Project Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Foreign Reporting and Compliance processes. You will collaborate with tax, accounting, and audit teams, leveraging your expertise to drive process improvements and deliver scalable solutions. Your work will directly contribute to optimizing our operations and ensuring compliance as our business grows.Key job responsibilities
- Develop, organize, and manage project plans using existing tools.
- Document and communicate project status, including preparing materials for leadership.
- Act as a subject matter expert in collaboration with sponsors, project owners, and stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements to streamline operations, achieve efficiencies, and develop performance metrics.
- Engage with tax and finance members to leverage technology for efficient results.
- Document clear and actionable requirements from impacted functions and communicate them to stakeholders.
- Lead the documentation of processes, focusing on tech solutions, controls, and user impact.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
- Bachelor's degree
Extended Qualifications
- 3+ years of maintaining and operating transaction tax calculation software (e.g. Vertex) experience- Experience with VBA, Python, SQL, or other database language
- Master's degree, or CPA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $80,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $172,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
