To do this, Amazon is optimizing our dedicated air transportation network to exceed customers' expectations daily.Amazon is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join the Flight Scheduling team and help chart the future of Amazon Air. The role's scope is broad and includes managing and optimizing the near-term flight schedule, fleet planning and aircraft allocations (e.g. number of aircraft in use vs. maintenance), as well as other strategic projects to continually raise the bar on delivering for our customers. To do this, you will work closely within the Network Planning team and with partner teams including Finance, Operations, Process Engineering, and Air Science & Technology. In this role you will make customer-focused and cost-effective decisions, directly impacting Amazon's transportation network.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the flight schedule development process for Amazon Air and act as a key point of contact for partner teams (e.g., Regional Air Hubs, ground transportation, Fulfillment Centers, Last Mile, etc.)
- Manage supply chain activities for capital and operational planning, including developing timelines, engaging stakeholders, identifying risks, and developing contingencies
- Evaluate tradeoffs on the mechanisms to solve for customer needs and cost in order to drive consensus across partner teams (Finance, Operations, Process Engineering, Procurement, etc.)
- Partner with Research Science & Technology as a subject matter expert to create new planning and forecasting tools
- Navigate through ambiguity, manage and coordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and delivering on commitments
- Domestic travel up to 10% of the time

Qualifications
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Transportation, Mathematics, Economics, Physics or another technical field
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, etc
Extended Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in transportation operations and industry knowledge
- Experience with Tableau, SQL, or basic data-mining

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
