Vendor Flex (VF) operates over 150+ facilities across the United States and provides a cost-effective supply chain solution for the core Amazon Fulfillment Network. With this growing network, the Vendor Flex Transportation (VFT) Team is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to own the strategy and optimization of our Cost to Serve our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the overall shipment costs to our customers while partnering with internal/external stakeholder teams to expand on the transportation capabilities of the program with a continued cost improvement focus in mind.

Key job responsibilities

- Own the cost optimization strategy for Vendor Flex Transportation.

- Own the expansion of transportation capabilities by introducing new features/functionality to VF last mile connectivity.

- Partner with VF Business and Amazon Retail teams to ensure existing nodes are operating with optimal shipment costs.

- Be the subject matter expert and review new business initiatives for feasibility within VF Transportation.



Qualifications

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- 5+ years of supply chain experience

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership



Extended Qualifications

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
