You'll lead critical commercial projects that shape the future of logistics, working at the intersection of strategic sourcing, vendor management, and operational excellence.Key job responsibilities
- Develop Strategic Sourcing Frameworks: Establish benchmarks and targets for ground services cost management
- Vendor Relationship Management: Negotiate pricing and contracts with ground services vendors to meet budget objectives
- Market Intelligence: Conduct comprehensive macroeconomic and category spend analysis using internal and external data sources
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Connect with stakeholders to develop comprehensive request for proposals and translate complex requirements
- Strategic Recommendations: Evaluate supplier capabilities and provide strategic guidance to support procurement processes

Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience being responsible/leading large and complex negotiations
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
Extended Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience- Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
