Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded individual for the position of Strategic Acceleration Lead to join the Global Strategic Acceleration team (GSA) within the AWS Specialists and Partner Organization (ASP).The GSA team delivers ambitious, cross-organizational initiatives designed to boost internal productivity across ASP. Our approach centers on rapid experimentation, continuous learning, and rapid innovation through constant iteration. Our strategic focus on improving ASP internal productivity by delivering and driving successful adoption of key organizational initiatives, with focus on GenAI adoption acceleration, cross-functional collaboration amplification, and change management advancement.
We seek innovative professionals who challenge the status quo and show genuine curiosity about initiatives that impact our ecosystem of customers, partners, and employees. The ideal candidate is proactive, decisive, and can work independently while asking insightful questions. You should be comfortable taking calculated risks and driving positive change. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills combined with big-picture thinking and the ability to turn complex challenges into simple solutions.
Key job responsibilities
- Accelerate ASP strategy (as defined by the ASP Operating Plan) through strategic initiatives that transform ASP’s organizational and technical capability, capacity and performance. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance overall strategy deployment effectiveness.
- Closely coordinate with the ASP teams Strategic Initiative Leaders to maintain cross organizational awareness, surface challenges, disconnects, and opportunities quickly with regard to delivering on strategy.
- Dive deep into the business dynamics of partners by collecting meaningful data, anecdotes, insights, and trends, both through internal data metrics and meetings with partners and customers, and participation in partner-facing meetings. The output of these interactions will facilitate the team ability to align and influence the ASP strategy, ensuring that customer and partner needs remain at the center of our strategy and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with ASP Communications team to communicate strategy, goals, and progress effectively across all levels of the organization. Foster alignment and understanding among team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in strategy deployment, strategic planning, or a related role.- Experience in conducting analysis of complex data and translating the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
- Experience in communicating complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
Extended Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work effectively with executives and stakeholders at all levels.- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations.
- Experience working in a technology or cloud computing environment is a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
