Description

We are seeking an experienced sports marketing professional to join the Global Sports Marketing team at AWS. As Senior Manager, Sports Marketing, you will manage a significant sports League partnership within the AWS Sports Marketing portfolio. You will drive the League relationship, support go-to-market strategy development, and execute integrated marketing plans. Leveraging your expertise in technology, campaign planning and sports marketing, you will work with cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to merge AWS solutions with sports, developing marketing campaigns that resonate with audiences globally. This League partnership requires regular interaction with diverse stakeholders both internally and externally. Your work will be highly visible and contribute significantly to AWS Marketing priorities.

Key job responsibilities

Key job responsibilities:

1. Marketing Execution: Support the go-to-market plan and execute 360-degree marketing plans for assigned League within AWS Sports Marketing portfolio. Help establish goals and implement global and regional integrated marketing strategies aligned with AWS business objectives.

2. Partnership Management: Support contract management and serve as day-to-day AWS contact for the League. Build League relationships and identify Marketing activation opportunities.

3. Agency Management: Manage agency partner(s) who support Property marketing strategy and marketing activation. Oversee retained agency in execution of benefits and activation.

4. Campaign Management: Execute marketing campaigns leveraging Partnership benefits, including content creation, channel selection, budget management, and performance tracking. Develop campaign concepts for AWS Marketing stakeholders and Partnership account team.

5. Event Support: Manage the planning and execution of AWS-sponsored events, ensuring effective integration of marketing activities.

6. Analytics: Track campaign performance metrics, analyze data, and provide insights to optimize marketing strategies. Help prioritize utilization of benefits to drive business output.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to align messaging and ensure consistent brand representation.

8. Market Research: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform Partnership marketing strategy.

Qualifications

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

- Experience executing cross-functional marketing programs

- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams



Extended Qualifications

- Experience working with partner teams to implement brand assets and messaging

- Experience in marketing management and demonstrated ability to execute strategy aligned to business objectives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
