AWS Sales is seeking a Sales Operations and Strategy Analyst to partner with our sales team and other stakeholders to provide proactive insights and drive go-to-market strategy and the launch of a new sales team. This will include working with Specialized Sales Operations Leads to develop, implement and manage business processes, systems, reports and strategies that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

- Work directly with the models/data. Work with large data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them

- Analytically advocate for your customers to other internal teams

- Drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems,

- Project-manage multiple workflows and communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbally.

- Work with key business stakeholders to understand requirements and shape analytical deliverables.

- Think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to work cross-organizationally.

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.



Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

- 2+ years experience as an analyst

- Advanced SQL/MS Excel



Extended Qualifications

- Experience with CRM data such as Salesforce.com, and data visualization software such as Quicksight, Domo, or Tableau

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of supporting a variety of stakeholders

- Exhibits sound business judgment and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and providing clear answers to complex problems

- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

- Motivated self-starter, proactive and action-oriented, with strong problem solving and collaboration skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $61,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $131,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
