The AmazonLink team, within Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT), owns Amazon's global Electronic Integration (EI) solutions. We enable seamless electronic communication between Amazon's business teams and their external partners worldwide. Through our innovative products and technologies, we power Amazon Retail and Direct Fulfillment (DF) programs, transforming supply chain operations through enhanced efficiency and scalability at global scale.We're seeking a visionary leader to architect and execute our next-generation partner integration strategy. This role presents a unique opportunity to revolutionize how partners across Amazon's business programs connect with our EI systems, expanding beyond Retail and DF vendors. Your mission will be to create a unified, self-service solution that democratizes EI integration, enabling partners to effortlessly discover, onboard, and manage their integrations. You'll lead the development of an intelligent system that adapts to different partner personas and use cases, while maintaining integration flexibility and analytical insights. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Generative AI, we envision building personalized evaluation systems and guided experiences to transform the partner onboarding journey.
Your role includes defining and executing the product vision and technical roadmap that defines the future of our partner integration experience, building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams, making data-driven decisions to prioritize initiatives, and fostering a culture of innovation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business impact while championing engineering excellence and operational best practices.
Key job responsibilities
1. Lead a team of software engineers developing and maintaining software that fully automate the suppliers onboarding and integration process.
2. Establish metrics, processes, and frameworks to ensure engineering excellence, rapid iterations, and high-quality software delivery.
3. Raise the bar on technical excellence, demonstrate thought leadership, and communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
4. Leverage strong business and technical judgment to accelerate time-to-market while aligning with team's long-term vision.
5. Represent the technical organization, evangelizing its work to senior leadership.
6. Mentor and develop engineers, fostering their growth and career advancement.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Extended Qualifications
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $166,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $287,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
