This role of for a Software Development Engineer who will design, implement, and operate globally available distributed systems geared towards delivering world-class e-commerce solutions for Amazon Leo. You’ll build systems using the latest AWS technologies, leveraging best-in-industry software engineering practices.

Key job responsibilities
· Actively participate in overall product strategy and UI presentation.
· Design and implement globally available distributed cloud architectures.
· Be involved in every aspect of the UI for new features – from idea generation, exploring different design options, and technical design through software development using the latest technologies and design patterns.
· Collaborate with Software Development Engineers, Product Managers, UX Designers to ensure the best experience for our customers.
· The UI must be compliant with accessibility standards set at Amazon.
A day in the life
Have you wanted an opportunity to develop the software applications and services for an advanced global telecom service? This role is for a SDE who will design, build, and maintain components and services of Amazon Leo's Customer Engagement Systems and interact with the core Leo Network.
About the team
Our team owns developing the frontend architecture, solutions & roadmap for managing the customer lifecycle for telecom services; for example customer learn paths, availability check, shop, purchase, and account management. We integrate with core Leo backend services to enable customers to manage their entire journey with Amazon Leo.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Extended Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
