Key job responsibilities
Work closely with Product, Science and engineering leaders to design, implement and deploy applications
Own the design and delivery of an integral piece of a system or application.
Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments
Help hire and develop technical talent for the team.
Create and execute appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies and processes for development activities in concert with business and project management efforts.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Extended Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- 1+ years of big data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, Lucene/SOLR or Storm/Samza experience
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
