Description

As a Software Development Engineer within the Core Services organization you will be actively working on systems and features that accomplish this for buyers and sellers on Amazon.com every day.We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer with deep technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn to join the Core Relations team. The Core Relations team employs agile development practices to build systems that identify and eliminate bad actors to ensure Amazon is a trusted place for buyers and selling partners. You will face a diverse set of problems requiring you to build software systems to capture billions of customer relationships, leverage graph clustering and statistical modeling techniques to make use of relationship data, and utilize cutting-edge cloud computing services to build high availability distributed systems that can scale to massive levels. Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Extended Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
