You will join the Perception team which applies AI-based solutions to improve safety, customer experience, and safety of the product. You will work closely with applied scientists and engineers from diverse technical backgrounds.
Key job responsibilities
- Design/Develop/Test data infrastructure to support drone delivery operations and drone SW/algorithm development.
- Gather and translate customer requirements into technical requirements and drive discussions on prioritization and timeline.
- Influence and drive operational excellence best practices.
- Leverage large datasets and build next-generation training workflows using latest machine learning frameworks to solve the most challenging problems in autonomous aviation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
- 3+ years of big data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, Lucene/SOLR or Storm/Samza experience
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Extended Qualifications
- 2+ years of machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining, and analytics techniques experience- Master's degree or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
