Description



The AWS Social Media Team (SMT) is looking for an experienced social media marketing manager to join our team and support company-wide social marketing motions including social media strategy, social content creation, publishing, and performance reporting. This role will help shape, influence, and inspire customers everywhere and influence how they experience and interact with the AWS brand, as well as our products and services, across our portfolio of AWS social handles.

As a Sr. Social Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing social media strategies for AWS brand accounts across all social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, X, etc.), coordinating content creation across a wide range of content creators, and stakeholder groups, and end-to-end execution of social marketing motions.

• This role will be responsible for analyzing and reporting social media performance metrics, defining and implementing social media goals, strategies, content requirements, and intended outcomes with Product Marketing managers and other stakeholder groups.

• This role will manage daily meetings across all stakeholders to ensure we are creating a thriving social experience for customers.

• Help increase adoption of new products and features by creating high-quality content such as videos, blog posts, or podcasts targeted at engineers / technical end users

• Work with our Marketing team to create and publish a steady beat of high-performing, product-focused social media content.

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives that help shape the perception of the AWS brand.

• Develop and launch social programs to boost the credibility of the AWS brand worldwide, with a focus on brand advertising, public relations, and global campaigns.

• Execute social media campaigns standalone and as part of multi-channel advertising efforts.

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of social media channels, including content creation, publishing, and community management.

• Drive cross-functional collaboration with external stakeholder groups.

• Partner with external media agencies and social media platforms, while seeking out new and emerging platforms.

Qualifications

- 6+ years of professional non-internship social media marketing experience across multiple social platforms at an enterprise level

- 6+ years of experience with Sprinklr or similar social publishing platforms

- • 6+ years of developing and formally implementing social media strategies

- 6+ years of experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)



Extended Qualifications

- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

- Experience creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights

- Experience with Salesforce and Tableau

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
