Description
Amazon Security is seeking a curious PM-T who is driven by experimentation and motivated to build automation. The Secure Third Party Tools team has bold ambitions to re-imagine security products that serve Amazon's pace of innovation at our global scale. Technical Product Managers are integral to own roadmap planning through single-threaded-leadership to efficiently engage the development team. Working backward from multiple customer sets to proactively learn, research, benchmark, document opportunities for technical solutions will drive results.Key job responsibilities
Continually optimizing product solutions and investments while balancing near term value delivery with long term customer needs.
Systematically driving release schedules and tracking progress with clarity of communication (written and verbal), so that customers receive recognized benefits early and often. Effectively scale PM-T through the organization with mechanisms that focus on:
Raising the security bar to value customers first
Owning product/solution portfolio
Properly escalating
Humbly utilizing feedback
Facilitating continue improvement
Making plan, and staying two steps ahead
A day in the life
PM-Ts work backwards from Customer needs to identify and clarify requirements, maps needs to key business metrics and goals, and creates plans to solve business problems using technology solutions. While others may become distracted with competing objectives or motivations, the PM-T delivers results, manages the schedule, and optimizes solution scope at the earliest feasible timeframe. When barriers, surprises and constraints threaten delivery, the successful PM-T accounts for challenges by focusing on solutions to optimize results. How the accomplish this is command of data, decisiveness, collaborating but doing their own homework. Creating/scaling quality rubrics that address constraints and uphold quality.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of end to end product delivery experience- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition for software products
- Bachelors degree or 5+ years equivalent PMT-related work experience
Extended Qualifications
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
