Do you want to lead initiatives that will have a significant impact to Amazon’s customer experience and bottom line?The Creators organization at Amazon is looking for talented Software Development Engineers with a passion for building bar-raising CX experience for Amazon Creators and customers to help us re-imagine social shopping! Our team owns the Amazon Influencer Storefront which is a customer-facing page where influencers can manage their presence on Amazon—it vends their shoppable photos, videos, idea lists, and gives influencers the tools to customize their individual pages to fit their brand. Storefronts are the main pages that customers are driven to from onsite experiences (e.g., homepage widgets, Amazon Live) and offsite social media accounts (e.g., Instagram Stories, TikTok). It is the singular destination where customers expect to discover content and product recommendations from their favorite influencers.
Amazon and Associates Program are growing at an incredible rate. To keep up with that growth we are working on delivering a new enhanced Storefront vision. We envision Storefront to be the primary destination for customers, creators, and publishers to maintain their content and presence on Amazon, where everyone can engage with one another, share recommendations, discover new products, and gain inspiration as they shop. Successful candidates need to be creative, innovative, flexible, self-directed, able to design and write reliable, maintainable and high-performance code. You must be able to deal with ambiguity, make data-driven decisions, multi-task and deal with complexity.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a talented and creative engineer who have a passion to create engaging and high-quality consumer experiences and products. You are preferably a full-stack developer who wants to build back-end services and front-end experiences. Clear communication will be important as you plan, design, and deliver the best experience for millions of customers. Along the way, you’ll learn about challenges in launching a new business. You’ll partner closely with cross organization teams and work with different job families.
You will play a key role in solving challenges, that include
- High Availability guarantees
- Extremely low latencies
- High throughput
- Leverage AWS for serverless architecture, and use S3, DynamoDB, Elastic Map Reduce and Elastic
- Build cool new Web UIs and data rendering frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Extended Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
