Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP SD and GTS Functional Lead to spearhead the implementation of the Sales and Distribution (SD) module for our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and deploying the SD module to enhance our sales, distribution, and returns management processes.Key job responsibilities
* Analyze and document business requirements related to sales, distribution, and returns management processes.
* Implement and support business processes such as B2B (Business-to-Business), Make-to-Stock, VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory), Contract Manufacturing, Vendor Consignment, Subcontracting, 3rd Party, Inter-company sales, Back Order Processing, Rebates and Settlement management.
* Design and configure the SAP SD module to meet the identified business requirements, including:
* Sales Order management in SAP S/4 HANA
* Pricing and condition techniques
* Delivery and transportation management
* Returns management and credit/debit memo processing
* Integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FICO, LE, GTS)
* Customize and develop SAP SD solutions, including user exits, and enhancements, to address any gaps between standard SAP functionality and specific business needs.
* Manage and support all Sales and Distribution related Data Workflows, including all Partner EDI communications, interfaces, and APIs with external applications
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, technical consultants, and other functional consultants, to ensure seamless integration and data flow across modules.
* Implement and configure Global Trade Services (GTS) related business process and integration with SAP modules
* Develop and execute training plans to train end-users on the configured SAP SD processes and functionalities.
Qualifications
- * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent experience.- * 10+ years of experience in implementing and configuring the SAP SD module, with a strong emphasis on returns management and reverse logistics processes.
- * Thorough understanding of sales, distribution, BOM (Bill of Materials) and returns management processes, including order management, pricing, delivery, and credit/debit memo processing.
- * Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD and its integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI, LE).
- * Experience in integrating with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), Demand Forecasting, Procure to Pay and Sales and operations planning processes.
- * Experience with SAP GTS module implementation and integration.
- * Familiarity with industry-specific best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements related to sales, distribution, and returns management.
- * Experience in architecting and managing partner EDI communications based on 850, 855, 856, 867, 940, 945, 810 for PO, PO change, Advance Shipping Notification, Warehouse shipping, Inventory movements, and Invoice transactions.
- * Must have worked with Financial Supply Chain: A/R, Credit management FI Reconciliation & Audit, Planning & Budgeting, Tax integrations.
- * Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Extended Qualifications
- * Experience in implementing SAP SD for high-tech manufacturing industry.- * Knowledge of vendor-managed inventory (VMI) and third-party logistics integration.
- * Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
- * Experience in planning, development, implementation, and end-to-end life cycle of at least 4-5 complex large-scale enterprise transformations.
- * At least five (5) years of S/4 HANA experience.
- * Certification in SAP SD (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Sales and Distribution) is preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
