As a SAP MDG Product Manager, you will maintain and develop the MDG functionality for Leo Production Systems keeping in mind requirements from customers and other stakeholders. This role will be responsible for building a long-term data Master Data Governance System aimed at improving process efficiency and master data accuracy.
Key job responsibilities
Define and drive the enterprise Master Data Governance (MDG) strategy by translating business needs into scalable system solutions and leading activities across design, build, testing, training, and deployment. Establish and enforce data governance standards, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality, consistent, and compliant material master data across LEO, monitored through defined KPIs and SLAs.
Configure and support SAP MDG for Material Master, including data models, governance structures, validation rules, and workflows to enable controlled data creation and maintenance. Develop and maintain business rules, approval processes, and change request workflows to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance across the material lifecycle.
Design, optimize, and support workflow processes while troubleshooting issues related to approvals, data replication failures, and process inefficiencies. Ensure seamless integration of MDG with SAP S/4HANA, core modules, and non-SAP systems to maintain reliable data distribution and consistency.
Collaborate with technical teams on BRF+, UI modeling, and data replication frameworks, while analyzing and delivering new business requirements and enhancements. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution, resolve data and integration issues, and continuously improve governance practices through standardization and automation.

Enable seamless integration of MDG with SAP S/4HANA, MM, EWM, QM, PP, Finance, and non-SAP systems, ensuring reliable data distribution and consistency across platforms.
Govern the material lifecycle by enforcing standardization, harmonization, and compliance across all stages of material master data management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP MDG configuration experience with a minimum of 2 full end-to-end implementations, preferably in a manufacturing environment with a strong focus on Material Master.
- Experience implementing and supporting SAP MDG solutions, including data modeling, governance frameworks, and workflow configuration.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and master data lifecycle processes.
- Experience integrating SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA and core modules such as MM, PP, EWM, QM, and Finance.
- Hands-on experience with BRF+, workflow design, change request management, and data replication frameworks.
- Experience in troubleshooting data issues, workflow errors, and integration challenges.
Extended Qualifications
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools- 10+ years' hands-on experience in SAP MDG
- Knowledge of SAP MM, PP or QM Modules
- Experience of working in Aerospace/Defense industries and in ITAR environments

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
