Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement:

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

The Sales Operations, Revenue Management and Assurance leader is a key member of the Kuiper Commercial Revenue Operations team. This role will optimize revenue generation, ensuring accuracy and compliance in revenue processes, and maximizing profitability through strategic planning and execution. In this role, you should be comfortable juggling between thinking big and the operational nuances of the work. You must also be a self-starter with strong analytical and planning ability while being able to navigate the ambiguous landscape of Kuiper business.

Key job responsibilities

-Deliver Financial Reporting, Billing Audit, and Revenue Reconciliation across regions.

-Predict future demand for products or services based on historical data, market trends, and external factors.

-Optimize the revenue lifecycle with strategies across marketing, sales, customer success, and finance teams.

-Prevent revenue leakage by identifying and mitigating potential revenue losses due to errors, fraud, or inefficiencies in revenue processes.

-Implement robust audit and control procedures to monitor revenue processes, detect anomalies, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

-Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, revenue reporting, forecasting, etc.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- 8+ years Finance Experience

- Reconciliation or end of month (EOM) closing experience

- Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations



Extended Qualifications

- Order to cash (OTC) experience

- Sales operations experience

- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

- Finance degree or CPA

- Master’s degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
