Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Operations Leader who possesses a proven track record of driving data-driven decision-making and delivering operational excellence. In this role, you will own and optimize multiple global sales operations mechanisms, ensuring consistent implementation and performance across regions.

As the successful candidate, you will collaborate closely with Sales Operations leadership to identify and address complex operational challenges. You will leverage your deep analytical expertise to implement BOSS mechanisms in new geographical markets, support operational aspects of Annual and In-Year Planning activities, provide revenue routing guidance, assist with revenue forecasting, and utilize Generative AI to uncover innovative solutions and derive impactful insights from data.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate a robust technical skillset, strong financial acumen, and extensive analytical experience. You should be a seasoned problem-solver with a commitment to driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement. Your ability to embrace complex challenges, work independently, and demonstrate a keen aptitude for learning will be critical to your success.

As a senior-level contributor, you will drive the development of simple, scalable solutions to address high-impact, cross-functional problems. You will exhibit exceptional organizational skills and the capacity to communicate results effectively, both in written and verbal form, with clarity and ease of understanding. Adept at managing multiple, concurrent assignments, requests, and processes, you will prioritize tasks and consistently deliver timely, high-quality results.

Identifying commonalities across diverse business needs, you will recommend strategic improvements to accelerate current scaling mechanisms and leverage automation to grow capacity in line with business growth. Furthermore, you will be responsible for leading enhancements to reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the team, increasing the availability and granularity of actionable data that drives informed decision-making.

This position will require you to collaborate with various stakeholders supporting the extended AWS Sales & Marketing organization. You must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across other geographies.

Key job responsibilities

- Support annual planning activities and develop actionable insights

- Provide enablement and support of specific mechanisms used to manage the Sales and Sales Operations businesses

- Support key sales support systems/processes required to meet the rapid growth of the business and achieve revenue attainment and market development objectives

- Create insightful analysis, reports, and dashboards to accelerate information-to-action at scale

- Develop relationships and processes with sales, sales operations, and other stakeholders to identify and address operational inefficiencies

- Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed

- Be an expert in analytics tools required to support Sales and Sales Operations

Qualifications

- 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.

- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent



Extended Qualifications

- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools

- Experience presenting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
