Are you passionate about using data to drive operational excellence at global scale? Join Amazon's Global Logistics team as a Sales Operations Analyst, where you'll process and analyze massive datasets to optimize our international transportation services that connect sellers and customers across the world. In this role, you'll be the analytical engine behind sales operations, developing insights and tools that directly impact how we eliminate borders for buyers and sellers globally.Global Logistics provides FBA Sellers a one-stop shop for international transportation services, delivering end-to-end supply chain solutions. Our multicultural, multilingual team works with merchants, sellers, providers, governments, and trade officials from the busiest to the most remote locations around the world. This role requires collaboration with China-based partners regularly. You should expect to work some evenings to manage timezone differences.
Key job responsibilities
- Generate and maintain pipeline reporting dashboards in Salesforce to track sales performance metrics
- Analyze data to prioritize qualified leads and execute lead assignment processes
- Investigate root causes of service issues at scale through systematic data analysis
- Manage operational escalations and coordinate with finance, product, and technical teams to resolve systemic issues
- Analyze seller feedback and anecdotes, taking ownership of resolution and partnering with product and seller experience teams for continuous improvement
- Develop tools and business processes that simplify operations, standardize workflows, and enable operational excellence
- Identify process improvement opportunities to shorten sales cycles from first-touch to conversion
- Create actionable recommendations through ad hoc data retrieval and analysis
A day in the life
You'll start your day reviewing overnight data from our global operations, identifying trends and anomalies in seller performance metrics. You'll spend time in Salesforce and Excel analyzing pipeline data, creating reports for leadership, and developing insights that help prioritize which sellers need support.
You'll collaborate closely with sales teams, finance partners, and product managers to resolve escalations and improve processes. When systemic issues arise, you'll dig into the data to identify root causes and propose solutions. You'll also dedicate time to building new tools and automations that make the team more efficient.
Your internal stakeholders include sales operations teams, account managers, finance, and product teams across multiple time zones. Your customers are the Global Logistics sales organization who rely on your analysis to make data-driven decisions about seller engagement and support.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent- 4+ years of using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze large sets of data experience
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
Extended Qualifications
- Experience working in a sales or sales support role- Experience working within a high-growth technology company
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Mandarin
- 4+ years of transportation and supply chain experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
