Description

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

The Amazon Leo enterprise team is looking for an experienced enterprise sales leader to build and lead a team focused on direct enterprise customers across North America. You will own pipeline development, deal execution, and revenue growth for Leo's B2B connectivity services with Fortune 1000 accounts spanning industries including energy, maritime, mining, transportation, media, and retail.

This is an early-stage enterprise sales organization. You will define the sales motion, hire and develop the team, and close the deals that establish Leo as the enterprise connectivity or distributed operations. You will work directly with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and AWS partnership teams to shape offers, remove blockers, and accelerate time-to-revenue.

Key job responsibilities

Own part of the North America enterprise sales number. Build pipeline, close deals, and deliver bookings targets against plan

Recruit, develop, and lead a team of enterprise account executives selling Leo connectivity to large direct customers

Define and execute the land-and-expand sales motion for multi-site enterprise accounts (energy, logistics, maritime, mining, agriculture, media, retail)

Develop account strategies for top-tier prospects, including executive engagement plans, technical discovery, and commercial structuring

Partner with AWS field teams to identify co-sell opportunities where Leo connectivity complements existing AWS cloud workloads

Navigate complex deal structures including multi-year PPAs, volume commitments, custom SLAs, and multi-national contracting

Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Legal to translate customer requirements into product roadmap input and scalable commercial terms

Build repeatable sales processes, playbooks, and forecasting discipline for a team operating in a pre-GA and early-GA environment

Represent the voice of the North America enterprise customer internally, ensuring product decisions reflect real buyer needs

Export Control Requirements:

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Qualifications

- Experience recruiting and developing high performing teams that deliver outsized results

- Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience managing enterprise sales teams

- 3+ years of exceeding quota and key performance metrics experience

- Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals

Extended Qualifications

- MBA, or Master's degree

- Experience across at least one industry vertical (manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, etc.)

- Knowledge of AWS or cloud technologies

- Experience in connectivity, telecommunications, satellite, or infrastructure-as-a-service sales

- Experience building sales teams in early-stage or pre-revenue environments where the sales motion is still being defined
