Description
Amazon Freight is looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and analytical Sales Analyst to plan, implement and improve programs that drive positive impact on shippers who inbound to Amazon and the Inbound Sales team. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales programs. You will have the opportunity to use your own research and analysis to shape the long-term vision of the sales organization.The ideal candidate is as comfortable working on sales strategy and design, as they are rolling-up their sleeves and working on implementation. You will work closely with the sales team to deep dive into frictions and challenges, identify and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders, and operationalize mechanisms for sales performance tracking as well as reporting.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales programs and initiatives in line with the organization's strategic goals and objectives, focusing on ones that improve sales efficiency and effectiveness
- Own the design and development of ongoing sales metrics, key performance indicators, reports, dashboards to drive key business decisions of the programs and initiatives
- Work closely with the Inbound Sales team to be a key enabler to operational excellence (e.g., set up audit mechanisms for duplicative and inactive accounts, build reports/analytics for shipper performance review)
- Manage shipper accounts without dedicated account manager; build reports to track growth of the shippers and be the Voice of Shipper (VoS) for them
- Create new mechanisms to further existing partnerships with other Amazon managed supply chain teams, including Partnered Carrier Program (PCP), Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) and Amazon Warehouse & Distributions (AWD)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve shipper experiences, sales productivity and operational efficiency for Amazon Freight and the fulfillment network (e.g., drive proactive shipper communications with Marketing and Product teams for feature rollout, seasonal events, etc.)
About the team
Amazon Freight is a transportation service provider enabling shippers to tap into the scale of Amazon as we extend our network to give Shippers best-in-class service at great rates. We pick up freight from a shipper’s warehouse and drop off to both external warehouses and internal Amazon warehouses. Our team has been operating since February 2020, offering services to FBA Sellers and 3rd party logistics providers (3PL) who inbound to Amazon warehouses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- Experience in business-process design or equivalent
Extended Qualifications
- 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $67,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $145,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
