To support this vision, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) is looking for an Content and Brand Manager to build the strategy, campaigns, and content to connect North America Customer Fulfillment (NACF) employees with the health and safety programs and experiences they need to be safer, every day.

This role will sit within the Safety Engagement team and lead the development and implementation of safety content and marketing strategies that drive a cohesive safety narrative and experience for our safety professionals, operations employees, and partners. This role will align with NACF WHS leaders to define campaign objectives that support the global business strategy and engage core audiences, and lead the development of the framework and tools for NACF partners to implement experiences and materials to meet those objectives. Central to this role will be leading the marketing strategy and execution--from launch through sustainment--of critical WHS programs across the NACF networks.

This role is based in Bellevue, Washington or Nashville, Tennessee.

Key job responsibilities

• Serve as single-threaded leader for NACF health and safety content strategy development and implementation in alignment with risk reduction strategies

• Lead development of tools, resources, and frameworks that enable NACF WHS partners to create and implement NACF-specific content aligned with broader strategies and plans

• Create tools and resources to educate, support, and scale NACF WHS content creators across the organization

• Provide counsel to WHS on content strategy and how to leverage partner team channels to reach target audiences

• Develop and execute internal marketing strategies and promotional materials for key WHS programs

• Serve as a trusted advisor for the NACF WHS leadership team

• Create and establish goal frameworks, invent and simplify processes through tools, and drive continuous improvement through automation

• Define desired outcomes and measure, report, and adjust activities based on those defined goals

• Bring big ideas to the table, obtain buy-in, and implement at scale

• Work across a wide range of senior leaders, internal stakeholders, and legal, HR, and PR partners to gain alignment on implementation and tactical execution of NACF initiatives

About the team

The WHS Safety Engagement team builds the messaging and brand experiences for people, policies, and programs that convey that Amazon prioritizes safety above all else.

The ideal candidate must be a skilled communications strategist and writer with exceptional judgement and interpersonal skills. They must have the ability to take ownership while earning trust as they consult closely with leadership, business, and partner teams to develop and execute creative internal marketing strategies that advance a cohesive safety experience across NACF. They are known for being organized and process driven, and can juggle competing priorities. They must enjoy a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment that encourages creative thinking, building of efficiencies, diving deep, and experimentation. Ultimately, they are a relentless advocate for employees and partners and insist on the highest standards. They should have a background building and executing strategies, managing projects, and creating content. They are a curious, lifelong learner who leans into disrupting the status quo to create memorable content that drives positive safety behaviors.



Qualifications

- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

- Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field

- 5+ years' work experience in strategic communications, media relations, marketing communications, or other related field or industry, ideally specializing in safety and/or employee communication roles

- Demonstrated internal communications experience

- Demonstrated expertise in strategic communications and grassroots advocacy and outreach



Extended Qualifications

- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

- Masters-level degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
