Description
The Seller Compliance Enablement (SCE) team within Regulatory Intelligence Safety and Compliance (RISC) is seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager to support our global scope of innovative projects supporting Selling Partner Experience.The Senior Risk Manager will be responsible for managing global risk and compliance programs that include inventorying, assessing, controlling, and monitoring important project-related risks. The candidate will be hands-on and must have an entrepreneurial mindset to be successful in this role.
Key job responsibilities
Our team is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to join our Seller Compliance Enablement team, focusing on streamlining our sellers' experience in the inventory management program as they navigate compliance requirements.
In this role you will have the opportunity to manage and iterate an approach to identify, assess, and manage remediation for a wide set of risks on our expanding projects. The candidate must be comfortable balancing strategic thinking with tactical, detailed execution while working independently, sorting through ambiguously defined problems, identifying and facing big challenges, and adjusting to sudden and frequent change.
- This will require collaboration across various teams to clearly define inventory management and removal requirements and dependencies
- Implement WW Governance, Inspection and Standardization on inventory management and removal
- Identify existing opportunities in the compliance inventory management lifecycle with the expectation to develop solutions to resolve gaps
- Develop metrics & present progress in WBRs and MBRs
- Develop short, medium, and long-term strategies to scale the program
The ideal candidate should possess excellent business, communication, and writing skills. They should also be proficient in influencing senior stakeholders through data-driven and actionable insights, and be capable of working independently in an ambiguous environment.

Qualifications
- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, project management skills
- Ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems with an extreme attention to detail and experience in preparing and leading discussions with senior management
Extended Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems with an extreme attention to detail and experience in preparing and leading discussions with senior management
- Experience with managing inventory or supply chain processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
