Description

Amazon is seeking a Risk Manager to join our Denied Party Screening (DPS) team, focusing on new business onboarding risk assessments and sanctions screening processes.

As part of the DPS CAC Risk Management team, you will lead comprehensive risk evaluations for new businesses, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive the implementation of effective screening configurations. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to analyze risk profiles, optimize screening workflows, and maintain robust control frameworks that protect Amazon's business.

Key job responsibilities

As a Risk Manager, you will:

• Drive end-to-end risk assessment for new business onboarding to DPS, leveraging data-driven insights to determine appropriate risk levels and configurations aligned with our Onboarding Risk Matrix

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, RCS, and Operations teams to develop comprehensive business risk profiles and define their impact on DPS screening approach.

• Partner with the DPS Onboarding team to ensure seamless handoff from risk assessment to implementation, maintaining high standards throughout the transition process

Qualifications

- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent



Extended Qualifications

- 5+ years of program or project Management experience

- Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
