Description

The AWS Data Center Supply Solutions (DCSS) Team is seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager to join the Strategic Portfolio Management team. In this role, you will lead a team focused on the implementation and daily management of our lease administration software and other tools critical for managing Real Estate Data Centers and Colocation contracts.

As the subject matter expert for AWS, you will support internal customers with system inquiries, reporting requests, and act as the primary point of contact for all lease technology-related matters. Key responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and distributing metrics to stakeholders, identifying opportunities for system improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.

Additionally, you will serve as the lease administration "power user," providing training for new users and ensuring smooth adoption of the technology. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to manage critical business functions that ensure the successful delivery, use, and ongoing improvement of lease technology systems at AWS.

Key job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of people and Manage the Lease Administration Software (Tango) to meet AWS-specific requirements, including system design validation, UAT testing, re-abstraction quality control, and data cleanup.

• Serve as the SME for all software systems supporting the AWS Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) team (SalesForce, Tango, Tableau, Smartsheets, OFA, and Payee Central).

• Develop and maintain Tango SOPs for the lease administration team, ensuring global consistency and standardization.

• Design and deliver Tango training programs and workshops for AWS teams.

• Provide ongoing support to SPM and cross-functional stakeholders, including lease administration, finance, accounting, and legal, ensuring effective use of the lease administration software and related tools.

• Create and manage reporting and dashboard requests to support portfolio metrics.

• Lead project management efforts to integrate data from disparate systems, driving process efficiency and automation through improved tooling.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following: real estate, contract and lease management, finance, payment processing, financial planning, asset management, or accounting.

• Minimum of 5 years managing a team in a fast paced, ambiguous environment

• Strong data interpretation skills, with the ability to derive insights and make actionable recommendations.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for translating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience using commercial real estate software platforms. Familiarity with real estate lease documents. Proven experience in implementing and managing real estate software systems.



Extended Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

• 5–10 years of experience in finance, financial planning, asset management, or accounting.

• Experience using lease administration platforms.

• Proficiency in SQL (querying, joining tables, optimizing queries).

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or AWS QuickSight. Familiarity with data warehouse solutions such as Redshift.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $122,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
