Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides companies of all sizes with an infrastructure web services platform in the cloud. The Strategic Initiatives team within the AWS Global Sales (AGS) Organization is seeking an innovative, action-oriented Program Manager (PM) to drive strategic initiatives and programs across the AGS organization. The scope of this role includes partnering with a wide range of stakeholders to design, implement, communicate, measure and iterate on key global programs and initiatives. The PM should be well-versed in program/project management, organizational change management, and be able to maintain a high bar on quality of execution and deliverables.The ideal candidate learns quickly and easily adapts to change, is comfortable with ambiguity while working in a fast-paced environment, earns trust through performance and relationship building, and communicates with and is able to influence employees at all levels of the organization. Cross-team coordination, excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate and bring people together, and drive to results are essential.
Key job responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to define program scope, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop milestones to ensure timely completion of programs.
- Create and maintain multiple, complex and concurrent program plans.
- Oversee the change management needs required by program, in conjunction with supporting teams in field communications, executive communications, training, enablement, and content management.
- Develop program materials, templates, documentation, and other assets.
- Track and monitor progress, define key performance indicators or success metrics by program, and be able to report on status against program objectives.
- Conduct program post-mortems, capture lessons learned, iterate and continuously improve program management practices and approaches for productivity and future planning.

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 7+ years of project delivery experience and working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
Extended Qualifications
- PMP certificate- Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
- Experience working in Sales Operations
- Experience delivering Sales Strategies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
