We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic manager to bring their leadership and expertise to lead cross-org programs in the Digital Acceleration team.Digital Acceleration (DA) is a core technology team that powers eCommerce for Amazon Digital Businesses worldwide. The team’s vision is to enable customers to easily discover, purchase and engage with the most relevant digital products and deals, anywhere and anytime.
As a Senior Program manager, you will be responsible for leading cross org programs and mechanisms across Digital Acceleration. You will work closely with leaders across the org to develop and drive strategic initiatives. You will own short and long-term goals to deliver process improvements and remove bottlenecks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong business writing and program management background combined with a fluent understanding of current technologies. They can develop and drive strategic initiatives and can also roll up their sleeves, dig in and get the job done. Maturity, strong business judgment, ability to influence cross-functional and remote teams, a customer-centric and creative mindset and strong analytical skills are essential. This opportunity requires excellent program management, prioritization, and communication skills, as well as the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities
- Own org wide business planning and operating cycles, establishing the cadence to meet critical business timelines.
- Drive cohesion on roadmaps and initiatives across the org
- Deep dive organization blockers and provide recommendations to drive efficiencies and improvements.
- Work with stakeholders to define the business requirements for new and existing programs, products
- Own and drive Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to leaders and stakeholders
- Develop, contribute to and maintain the centralized repository of workflows, tools, documentation and standards
- Build strong partnership with global cross-functional, cross-organizational stakeholders
- Identify and pursue cost reduction and efficiency opportunities

Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Extended Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
