Description

Worldwide Retail Growth and Development (WWRGD) owns Real Estate, Design, and Store Development across Worldwide Grocery Stores. We are responsible for bringing brick & mortar retail experiences to our customers across Amazon and Whole Foods Market banners and supporting the Worldwide Grocery Logistics network.

WWRGD is looking for a Senior Program Manager who is customer obsessed, experienced with retail program management, and proven ability to Think Big and Dive Deep. This Senior Program Manager will support the Growth & Innovation team with developing new store concepts and innovating the existing retail portfolio for Worldwide Grocery Stores. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a concept, with a focus on launching successful new experiences and/ or retail stores. This candidate will have a track record of earning trust, leading with influence, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Growth & Innovation, this role will be a part of a small, agile team dedicated to strategic innovation, new store concepts, and evolving the current portfolio of retail stores. This role must be adept at tactical execution and willing to dive deep to shepherd leaders’ visions into reality. This individual will be a master collaborator, comfortable working cross-functionally with business stakeholders, real estate, and senior leaders to align on requirements for new concepts. Cross-team coordination, program management, understanding of retail financials and fundamentals and executive presentation skills are essential as this role will be balancing multiple priorities and coordinating across multiple levels of leadership.

Key job responsibilities

- Lead the production of new store concept business plans and go-to-market strategies.

- Work closely with Real Estate Research to determine opportunity size of future concept versions and understand ROI.

- Coordinate with Finance to create financial plans/pro forma.

- Set KPIs to measure success of new store concepts or initiatives post-launch.

- Collaborate cross-functionally across business stakeholders to set product vision and roadmaps.

- Support Growth & Innovation leader to innovate the current portfolio and set up a mechanism to roll out updates in a systematic and cost-effective manner.

- Implement systems ensuring strong follow-up management occurs on action items and questions with relevant senior leaders.

- Drive Senior Manager, Growth & Innovation focus and attention to key bottlenecks, identifying potential solutions and leading implementation.

- Manages projects with high levels of ambiguity and complexity, frequently navigating change.



Qualifications

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership



Extended Qualifications

- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Knowledge of general AI tools

- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
