Description
The Amazon Devices & Services Business Development organization is looking for a results-oriented, data-driven Program Manager to manage our branded device portfolio across our business units. You will coordinate cross-functional projects across stakeholder and partner teams, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule while driving process improvements and automation that reduce manual effort and scale operations for new launches. You will also support program strategy alongside the Devices Operations and Engineering teams and serve as an ambassador for the program across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of partner management, Product Operations, Finance Product Lines (Echo, Tablet, and eReader), and Marketing. You will support projects from intake through end of life — managing launch schedules, understanding inventory requirements and lead times, and tracking and reporting on results. You will identify pain points through data, define remediation actions, and measure resulting improvements.
Key job responsibilities
• Program Execution & Launch Management: Own end-to-end project coordination for branded device launches, managing timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across Business Development, Finance, Planning, Logistics, Product, Accounting, and Engineering teams.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize internal and external workflows, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness across the program lifecycle.
• Automation Solutions: Evaluate current processes and systems to identify areas for automation, and lead initiatives to implement solutions that increase productivity and reduce manual effort.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze program data to identify trends, surface improvement opportunities, and deliver regular reporting to leadership to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous optimization.
• Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Partner with Operations and Product Line teams to understand inventory requirements, manage lead times, and ensure product availability aligns with launch schedules.
• Training & Documentation: Develop and maintain training materials and documentation for processes and systems, ensuring team members are equipped to effectively utilize tools and follow established procedures.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual agreements, and implement measures to continuously monitor and improve quality in business operations.
A day in the life
On any given week, you might kick off Monday with a cross-functional launch sync to align partners on an upcoming device release. By midweek, you're diving into program data to identify a bottleneck in the sample delivery process and proposing an automation fix. On Thursday, you're coordinating with Finance on P&L reporting and updating leadership on program status. Friday wraps with a strategy session on how to scale operations for next quarter's launches.
You are a self-starter who listens, forms insights, and executes — all while defining the strategic vision for process improvement across the organization. You balance earning stakeholders' trust with delivering against tight timelines, and you're comfortable communicating with leadership on program status and challenges. You thrive in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment and aren't afraid to break through the status quo when needed.
