Description

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

Our vision in the Applied AI Solutions Go-To-Market team is to be a leading provider of AI and Agentic business applications, leveraging Amazon's unique experience and expertise, used by millions of companies around the world to manage their day-to-day operations. Our mission is to accelerate our customers' businesses by delivering intuitive and differentiated technology solutions that solve enduring business challenges.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Program Manager to serve as the operational backbone of the GTM Acceleration team within Applied AI Solutions. This role is the PM for everything across the team — you will own the rhythm of business, drive accountability across all deliverables, manage stakeholder communications, and ensure the team operates at peak effectiveness.

This is not a traditional program management role. We expect you to leverage AI tools daily to streamline your work, automate repetitive tasks, and multiply your impact. You will also serve as a key writing contributor — drafting communications, authoring the GTM Acceleration Monthly Update, and helping leadership look around corners. Additionally, you will perform executive assistant-type functions for the team leader, including scheduling, event planning, and proactive coordination.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer with Amazonian document-writing skills, a natural organizer who thrives on bringing structure to ambiguity, and someone who sees AI as a daily force multiplier for operational excellence.

Key job responsibilities

- Own and drive the GTM Acceleration team's operating cadence end-to-end — team meetings, monthly business reviews, quarterly planning, and OP cycles — with agendas for every meeting, clear action items, and relentless follow-through to ensure nothing slips between team forums.

- Manage team goals, deliverable tracking, and Asana project hygiene; proactively flag risks, blockers, and slipping timelines to leadership before they become issues.

- Author and own the GTM Acceleration Monthly Update — a leadership-facing narrative synthesizing accomplishments, metrics, risks, and priorities across all workstreams.

- Draft, edit, and contribute to strategic documents and stakeholder comms with high-quality Amazonian writing — clear, data-driven, and customer-obsessed.

- Leverage generative AI tools (Amazon Q, Kiro, and others) daily to automate reporting, synthesize information, and streamline operational workflows; build and maintain team knowledge bases, dashboards, and shared resources to ensure team information is discoverable and new members are onboarded effectively.

- Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting preparation for the team leader; anticipate needs, help leadership look around corners, and serve as the operational force multiplier — triaging priorities, drafting responses, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

- Plan and execute team events, offsites, and all-hands meetings — owning logistics, agendas, communications, and follow-up actions.

- Drive cross-functional coordination across GTM Acceleration workstreams, ensuring stakeholder alignment, dependency management, and clear ownership of deliverables.

- Ensure the GTM Acceleration team completes required upskilling, training, and certifications on schedule; stand up and manage a mentorship program for AAIS GTM that pairs team members with mentors and tracks engagement; evolve AAIS Embark onboarding to align with the current state of the portfolio and ensure continued maintenance throughout the year.
