Description

We're looking for a seasoned Strategy & Planning Manager to serve as a force multiplier for our leadership team. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and communications — driving alignment across product lines, keeping the organization running at peak efficiency, and ensuring our teams are connected to the bigger picture. You'll operate as a trusted partner to senior leadership, with broad visibility across the portfolio and the judgment to know when to drive, when to facilitate, and when to unblock.

Key job responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Alignment

Drive strategic planning and execution across product lines, connecting to broader organizational goals

Own Goal processes, planning cycles, and special projects on behalf of senior leadership

Proactively identify strategic risks and opportunities across product lines and org structures; surface recommendations to senior leadership with clear options and trade-offs

Communications & Culture

Develop and execute internal communications strategy in partnership with PXT

Plan and lead townhalls, offsites, and engagement initiatives that reinforce team culture

Organizational Management

Run staff meetings, oversee headcount planning and resource allocation

Drive hiring strategies, organizational design, and operational efficiency

Product & Business Operations

Coordinate roadmap planning, reviews, and strategic documentation across the portfolio

Drive AI tools adoption, process optimization, and Rhythm of Business mechanisms

Amazon Fellows Program

Own end-to-end strategy and execution; recruit and align VP-level participants

Manage relationship with Social Venture Partners, coordinate with Amazon Community Impact, and drive communications across program stakeholders and PR

Partner Management

Orchestrate customer/partner engagements and represent leadership in critical meetings

Serve as a decision-escalation point when the organization is stuck; diagnose root causes of misalignment, frame options, and drive resolution across senior stakeholders

Support PR/speaking engagements including talk tracks and demos



Qualifications

- 10+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

- 10+ years of program or project management experience

- 10+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

- Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders



Extended Qualifications

- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality

- Experience in talent management, organizational network analysis, and organizational design and development

- Demonstrated ability to operate with ambiguity and exercise independent judgment on sensitive/confidential matters

- Familiarity with AI/ML tools and a bias toward operational automation

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
