Description
Interested in working on an innovative and high-impact business that is changing the way customers think about grocery? The Business Enablement team within Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) Central Merchandising Operations org is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead promotional operations and process enablement across our omnichannel grocery business.In this role, you will own the development and maintenance of standardized promotional processes, ensuring category teams have clear SOPs and operational guidelines to execute accurate, competitive promotional strategies that balance customer satisfaction with financial targets. You will maintain a high bar for promotional quality and operational excellence, working cross-functionally with Category Managers, Trade Planning, Marketing, Finance, and Tech teams to deliver seamless promotional execution execution across both in-store and online channels.
The Business Enablement team serves as the cornerstone of WWGS's unified retail strategy, connecting business needs with technical solutions and establishing a framework that enables strategic decision-making. This role is critical to ensuring promotional operations run smoothly, efficiently, and at scale across the grocery network.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive SOPs for promotions processes, ensuring category teams have clear operational guidelines for planning and executing promotions
- Lead proactive quality audits of promotions to deliver excellent customer experience and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Translate business requirements into clearly documented BRDs for promotions tool development
- Coordinate UAT participation for promotions tool updates and system enhancements, ensuring business requirements are met
- Partner with Merch Ops Central Analytics to define dashboard requirements that enable category teams to monitor promotions performance and effectiveness
- Build roadmaps to improve promotional operational efficiency through process optimization and automation
- Contribute to director-level promotions reviews reporting on operational health, quality metrics, and promotions effectiveness
- Document best practices for promotions execution and create training materials to drive adoption of standardized processes across category teams
- Consult with Trade Planning and Marketing teams to ensure all promotional initiatives meet operational quality standards
- Partner with technical teams to identify opportunities for promotional workflow automation and simplification
Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Extended Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience defining pricing and/or promotion strategy for a retail business

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
