Description
Have a passion for food and strategic pricing? Looking to shape the future of grocery pricing at scale? The Business Enablement team within Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) Central Merchandising Operations is seeking an experienced Sr. Program Manager to lead pricing strategy development and enablement across our omnichannel grocery business.This role is both strategic and analytical—looking for someone who can develop comprehensive pricing frameworks, establish competitive intelligence strategies, and enable category teams to make data-driven pricing decisions that optimize customer value perception and profitability. You will own building strategy documents that define the vision for pricing across WWGS, determine business impact, and influence technical roadmaps to enable strategic execution at scale.
The Business Enablement team serves as the cornerstone of WWGS's unified retail strategy. In this role, you will establish the pricing frameworks and guidelines that enable category leaders to execute accurate, competitive pricing strategies while maintaining long-term margin health. You will work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders across Category Management, Finance, Core Pricing, Tech, and Analytics teams to drive strategic alignment and unlock regional, omnichannel grocery pricing capabilities.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and own comprehensive pricing strategy frameworks that guide category teams in making data-driven pricing decisions across all channels and formats
- Develop competitive intelligence strategies and establish guidelines for how category teams should monitor and respond to competitive pricing dynamics
- Establish pricing metrics frameworks and measurement approaches, partnering with Analytics teams to implement dashboards and reporting capabilities
- Translate strategic pricing initiatives into clearly documented BRDs for technical teams, influencing Core Pricing and Tech roadmaps to enable strategic execution
- Lead cross-functional strategic coordination to ensure pricing strategies align with broader business objectives, financial targets, and customer experience goals
- Partner with Finance team to develop profitability optimization frameworks that balance pricing decisions with cost management and margin health
- Craft compelling strategy documents and senior leadership updates communicating pricing strategy vision and business impact
- Drive adoption of standardized pricing processes across category teams, measuring success through stakeholder satisfaction and compliance rates
- Identify opportunities for pricing strategy automation and scalability, working with technical partners to simplify and streamline strategic execution
- Communicate effectively across teams and levels, balancing needs of internal stakeholders while maintaining customer-centric focus
Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience- 3+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Extended Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience- 3+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining pricing and/or promotion strategy for a retail business

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
