Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to join our Global Supply Chain Transportation Procurement (GSCTP) team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of transportation programs, ensuring that they are delivered on time, and to the highest possible quality standards. This role will require exceptional leadership skills, strong analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of transportation systems and operations. The Senior Transportation Program Manager will liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of projects.
Key job responsibilities
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
- Develop and implement project management plans, including schedules, scope of work and execution plan.
- Monitor progress against project plans and prepare regular status reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to transportation
- Develop strategies to improve transportation systems and operations
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor external developments and best practices in transportation, and ensure they are incorporated into project planning and implementation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Extended Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
