Description
Amazon.com’s Legal Department is looking for a smart and highly motivated program manager to assist AWS in efforts to address complex legal and policy issues effecting Amazon’s business and customers.A successful candidate will be able to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing, manage high volumes of tasks and projects, react with appropriate urgency depending on circumstances, think creatively and strategically, and exercise strong judgment.
Key job responsibilities
- Creating strong coordination mechanisms between internal team members and across other teams,
- Tracking the progress of different projects,
- Troubleshooting problems, clearly communicating objectives, and ensuring excellence in work product and accountability regarding deliverables,
- Keeping team members informed by providing regular updates on progress on important initiatives, and
- Evaluating and measuring success of ongoing projects and initiatives to identify anything that requires intervention or changes.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Extended Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
