Description
Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world.It's Day 1 for Amazon's next billion-dollar business and we are looking for a Sr. Program Manager to drive operational readiness and commercial strategy. In this role, you will work in a dynamic start-up environment, focusing on both business operations and pricing mechanisms that will shape Kuiper's market position. As part of Kuiper's Global Business Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing operational mechanisms that ensure our business is run effectively at launch and beyond.
This role offers strong career progression opportunities, with exposure to both strategic planning and operational execution. The successful candidate will help shape the processes we use to run our business and the tools we build to automate and scale over time.
Key job responsibilities
Design, implement, and lead operational readiness programs to ensure smooth business launch and ongoing operations
Create scalable operational frameworks that can adapt to evolving business needs
Navigate through ambiguity and drive consensus between cross-functional stakeholder groups
Build and maintain metrics to track business operations
Write effective narratives and present them concisely to senior management
Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment of operational strategies
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience creating, maintaining, and leading mechanisms
Extended Qualifications
- Experience in pricing strategy or revenue management- Master's degree or MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
