Description

Does the prospect of working in Amazon’s growing fast paced Finance org get you charged up?The WW Ops Finance Standardization & Automation team is looking for a customer focused, analytically and technically skilled Program Manager to play a significant role in supporting our organization initiatives. The Program team is responsible for ensuring organizational success and defining the metrics to measure efficiency. This role will partner closely with other program managers, recruiting teams, and diverse engineering teams to improve the rhythm of the business. The team has a fast-paced environment where we “Work Hard, Have Fun, Make History.” On a typical day, you will talk to several customers, define and prioritize the roadmap, deep dive to root cause a customer issue, release the latest new feature, define and report business metrics, discuss radical new approaches to building and operating at scale.
Our team builds technology solutions and services that enable Amazon’s Operations business growth through automation and self-service, while ensuring controllership, compliance with laws and regulations, security, reliability, and scalability. We are in the unique position to look across Amazon Operations to provide integrated solutions that satisfy the needs of multiple teams at once. Key job responsibilities
- Manage the full life cycle of cross-functional and ambiguous projects with considerable impact across multiple organizations
- Define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data, and drive improvements that are quantified by metrics
- Using judgement to partner with customers, internal/external teams, and engineering teams to determine project priority while utilizing efficiency
- Work with program managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
- Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects

Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Extended Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
