The program team is looking for a customer-obsessed, analytical, and inventive Program Manager to lead the operations and continuous improvement of our platform, Manager Hub. In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery of complex programs that support over 300,000 Amazonians across all businesses and subsidiaries.

You will be responsible for identifying pain points, uncovering inefficiencies, and developing scalable solutions to optimize program workflows. You'll work cross-functionally with product, data science, engineering, HR, and operations partners to deliver mechanisms that streamline processes, improve the employee experience, and reduce manual effort.

To succeed in this role, you bring a strong process improvement mindset, excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills, and the ability to influence without authority in ambiguous or fast-changing environments. You are equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to dig into operational issues as you are driving strategic conversations with stakeholders across levels.

This is a highly visible role that requires excellent judgment, crisp communication, and a passion for driving meaningful change.

Key job responsibilities

Own the day-to-day operations and long-term improvement of cyclical Talent Movement programs.

Analyze feedback, data, and performance metrics to identify pain points and inefficiencies.

Develop and implement both tactical and strategic solutions to improve program effectiveness and scalability.

Design and optimize program mechanisms and SOPs to support high-volume, repeatable processes.

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (HR, product, science, engineering, data) to align on roadmaps, dependencies, and success metrics.

Drive root cause analysis and develop action plans for continuous improvement.

Prepare and deliver clear, data-backed updates and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by applying program management best practices and lean principles.



Qualifications

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

- 3+ years of Business strategy or Non-Tech Program Management experience

- Bachelor's degree



Extended Qualifications

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

- PMP

- Experience managing large-scale, cyclical programs in a global or matrixed organization.

- Familiarity with program or

- process management methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).

- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive alignment across diverse teams.

- Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities; bias for action and ownership.

- Advanced Excel, Tableau, or SQL skills; experience using data to build operational dashboards or narratives.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
